March 16

Monday:  We included Brendan in our weekly afternoon together, because ALL schools are closed in the state of Michigan until ... at least after April 5 (sadly, some are saying school will not resume the entire year). I whipped up some mac 'n cheese (what else?) and sat everyone near Matey's cage (he is our entertainment).
Matey was true to form today--didn't miss a trick.
 I see you, Matey-Boy!
Dear, dear Aidan was hoping with all of his little heart that Matey would NOT land on him ...
Matey concentrated most of his efforts on Brendan ...

... as well as little Erin, who is an absolute scream with this bird.

Look at her darling little face!
Erin finally'd had enough of his antics and shooshed him away!

Mr. Matey was intent upon eating everyone's mac 'n cheese. We finally had to get him his own bowl.

The kiddos ALL played trains together, which was challenging, but they seemed to manage OK.
The little kiddos got out lots of stuff back in the playroom ...
Ah! These 3 are so dear to me ...
Aidan was rather miffed at having to share "fwacks" with anyone ...

Brendan began reading an "Ollie" book and Erin listened in ...
 Aren't these the swettest pictures?

We dressed our frog up in a VERY pink dress (given to us by Kaity) ...
Erin was super pleased about it ...

We survived the afternoon! I will admit, however, I did give in and turn on two episodes of "Dino Dan" and the kiddos watched while I caught my breath for a little bit. Sigh.
