May 22 (Cascade Dam)

Friday afternoon:  Here are just a few more pictures of the Thornapple River, quite flooded, and the path we took to see the Cascade Dam.

 This present structure of the dam was built in 1926 ...

 That's a LOT of rushing water. The sound was amazing.

Beautiful place. I'm looking forward to seeing it when the river is at it's normal level. There were many places we couldn't walk to today because ... they were UNDER water.
